A Family Nurse Practitioner‘s (FNP) role is to work alongside a patient and assume the charge of Primary Care throughout a person’s entire lifespan. I am licensed to assess, evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute (recent) and chronic conditions that require the management of a medical professional.
Doc Mama’s Medicine is designed to feel as comfortable and professional as possible, while ensuring a patient’s privacy and discretion. This space is dramatically more cost effective than a commercial space, which means more time spent with you!
All are welcome with one caveat: For the time being, I’m focusing on individuals 18 years or older. While I am able see pediatric patients, I know that there are better providers out there with a passion for kiddos who would love your patronage!
Here’s a smattering of populations that I’m delighted to serve:
Again, I will work with everyone and the above is not an exhaustive list! We will have our first meeting to boundaries of this practice and mutually agree to move forward, together!
I enjoy how clinical that definition is....
However, it doesn't encompass the entire picture of my medicine.
My medicine is a promise: To methodically and rigorously apply the evidence-based knowledge and technologies available to educate you and bring your body, mind, and spirit into harmony.
Your visit is meticulously crafted to elevate you, your health, and wellness through science.
(Science rules! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! BNTSG!)
Most definitely! We are going to be developing a professional relationship (patient/provider), and we'll set fair boundaries to ensure our personal, professional, and mental health are safely respected.
That is the foundation I ask we start from: mutual respect for each other. We‘ll go over the principles the practice embraces to ensure smooth and efficient care; establish what I am, and am not, able to do within the walls of my current space; and, set expectations so no one is disappointed.
Doc Mama’s Medicine will be your one-stop-shop in lab work, meaning any swabs, cultures, and/or monitoring blood work will be done right here in office and sent to Quest Diagnostics (LabCorp is taking their time getting back to me).
Imaging and other speciality tests will need to be performed out of this clinic.
Procedures: As the practice ramps up, more in-office procedures will become available. If I am unable to do it, I can get you referred to someone who can.
Injections: Whether it's injectable PrEP, hormone therapy, vaccines, or antibiotic treatment, injectable therapies are ready to go!
